Meet Uly!

Hey, I’m Uly, a recent grad from the University of Texas at Austin. I’m an Art Director in the world-renowned Texas Creative portfolio sequence. Raised in Mexico and now based in Austin, I’m fueled by a lifelong passion for creativity.

Ever since I could hold a pencil, I’ve been obsessed with bringing ideas to life, whether through design, storytelling, or finding that one perfect font (yes, it matters!). I love turning the ordinary into something unexpected, blending strategy with bold visuals to create work that sticks. If it’s creative, a little chaotic, and has the potential to make an impact I’m all in.

When I’m not scratching my brain trying to come up with the next big idea, I love spending my time playing trombone on a football field in front of 100,000 people alongside my best friends! Being in the Longhorn Band has taught me the importance of teamwork, time management, and flexibility. Ask me more about my time in LHB!
